What the course consists of
  • The course includes three stages
    • Introductory session. Getting acquainted, discussion of the course structure. Basic information about shooting techniques and image post-processing. Takes place offline or online.
    • Eight practical sessions with homework assignments.
    • Format — online. Group discussion.
    • Final session. Concluding meeting to summarize and fix the acquired experience. Takes place offline or online..
  • Homework
    • Completing the assignments is mandatory
    • Assignments are completed at a time convenient for the participant before the next session
    • Failure to complete a homework assignment is not an obstacle for further participation in the course
    The course is structured so that the group can move at a comfortable pace..
  • How the classes take place
    • Basic platform for participants — a closed page on Instagram or a website
    • Group of up to 10–15 participants
    • Format — individual work with homework assignments according to the lesson topic. Subsequent discussion in the group
    • Frequency — once a week
    • Total course duration — 6–8 weeks
  • Practical information
    • 7 creative assignments with subsequent analysis
    • Video lessons on shooting techniques and basic image processing on a smartphone
    • Possibility of individual consultations within the framework of project development (upon request)
  • Participation conditions
    • The course schedule is announced in advance and is not adapted to individual schedules of participants
    • If you miss a session, you are provided with all available materials for that lesson and the homework assignment is preserved
    • In case of inability to attend an already paid course, a refund is not provided, but participation in the next group can be discussed
  • Technical requirements
    To participate you need:
    • any modern smartphone
    • stable internet connection
    • personal Instagram account
    • tripod and Bluetooth remote control for the phone
    • basic skills of using a smartphone and Instagram are assumed by default
  • Confidentiality and ethics
    • All materials created by participants remain their intellectual property
    • Use of materials of other participants without their direct consent is prohibited
    • Internal group discussions are not subject to public distribution
  • Participation fee
    The participation fee is 50 euros

I am a Ukrainian professional photographer with 18 years of experience in family, portrait, and children’s photography in Ukraine, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, and the USA.


The course grew out of personal experience. Already being a professional photographer, I found myself in a situation of strict limitations: within the framework of studying art history, all creative assignments had to be done on a phone, using only myself as a model.


The first self-portraits caused rejection, but over time appearance ceased to be the main thing — self-expression and work with image came to the foreground.


Then it became clear that this process is capable of changing the attitude toward oneself not only for me, and it was precisely from this understanding that the course was born.
